National Environmental Balancing Bureau (NEBB)
Airlab Ltd is proud to be the only company in New Zealand belonging to the National Environmental Balancing Bureau (Certified July 2009, no. 3419). We are part of the Australian chapter and are qualified in Air and Hydronics and Environmental Systems.
The purpose of NEBB is to assist professionals in making sure buildings are performing at their best, so the people inside are too. Our instruments are maintained and calibrated in accordance with strict NEBB guidelines.
New Zealand Green Building Council (NZGBC)
Environmental sustainability is of increasing importance in New Zealand construction. Green buildings are focussed on efficient resource use and reducing building impacts on human health and the environment.
The New Zealand Green Building Council is committed to the development and implementation of green building practices through setting standards of best practice, education and training.
Airlab Ltd is a member of the NZGBC (Certified June 2009), demonstrating its dedication to green building practices in New Zealand. Air conditioning is central to how a building feels to work in as it has a direct impact on occupant health and the productivity of employees.
International Accreditation New Zealand (IANZ)
IANZ accreditation means that we have been independently assessed in technical competence, integrity of equipment and results and compliance with management and quality systems. Airlab Ltd is accredited under Applied Physics – Controlled Environments (Accreditation Number 766). We are qualified to issue certificates of compliance for clean rooms (including operating theatres), biological safety cabinets – class 1 & 2, cytotoxic drug safety cabinets, laminar airflow enclosures and HEPA filter installations.
